"I attended some of the (Holocaust Student Teacher training) sessions last year as Trustee and I can assure everyone that this is one of the most important, moving, and affirming programs that SU has.  I highly recommend it to the Alumni Association without reservation."

Welcome to your Syracuse Alumni link in
Greater Houston!

Welcome from the Club President

We are maintaining our connection with Syracuse University, and we’re creating connections right here in Texas.  While Houston is over a thousand miles away from that often snowy winter wonderland we called home, Syracuse is a part of our lives we will never forget, no matter how far we travel.

We revisit old memories while making new ones.  We build new relationships on the backs of the good old days.  This year, thanks in large part to Club member and “college night” organizer Andy Spector, we will help send 20 Houston teens to our alma mater; all will have that eager, frightened, yet excited look we once had, and all will have one burning question:  Just how much snow does this place get?

Yes, the club is about supporting the University and encouraging students to wear bright orange instead of burnt orange, but it’s also about having a good time with people who know where you’ve been and how far you’ve come.  Some of us graduated decades ago.  Some graduated last year.  But we’ve all been there.  We all share the Syracuse connection.

In this website you’ll read about the fun we’ve had, and the fun we’re about to have.  You’re welcome to join us.  Membership does have its privileges.
